Kazumi Ramen

HI FOODIES! SOOOO, THE STORY GOES LIKE THIS.  ORGANISING WHERE TO GO WITH @matty_bobbins FOR OUR CATCHUP.  SENT HIM THE @kizukiramen PAGE, I’D WANTED TO TRY THEIR WAGYU RAMEN FOREVER. 

He came back with, I’m doing the ramen challenge. Ummm, ok, I go back to their website and there it is. The mad ramen challenge. You know, when you eat hot af ramen and kill your tastebuds. ‍️ Mr OIIG, along with most male members of my family, have tried to ‘outhot’ (not a word) each other for years. I tend to sit back, watch and laugh.  This was no different.  Sorry Matt, welcome to the males of my family. 

The wagyu in my ramen was tender and had a delicious sticky fat. It was cooked down to the stage where you get that glorious sticky taste in your mouth.  The miso base was flavourful and the noodles themselves had an ever so slight chewiness. I’d like to go back and try their other dishes. 

Back to the hot af ramen. That’s all I can tell you about it. ‍️ You have to sign a waiver before starting this challenge. You know just in case . ‍️ Apparently, they add  Carolina Reaper chilli paste/liquid to the ramen, there is nothing in this world that would make me punish my taste buds and body like that. NOTHING. 

The challenge is eat the whole bowl of hot af ramen in 5mins. Am I right? Like wtf?
