If you’ve been following me for a while, you know, I don’t like eating game. This includes Kangaroo.\"\ud83d\ude2a\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saying that, if it’s on a deg menu or if a chef has made something for me to taste, I will and will do so with the same enthusiasm I do other dishes. It’s my job. I’m a professional. \"\u2764\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saying that…final dish was Kangaroo Gai Lan Smoked Soy. You have got to be kidding…the freaking best Kangaroo dish I have ever had! The smoked soy intermingled with the strong gamey flavours of kangaroo and subdued it. I freaking love that food does that! \"\ud83d\ude31\" The protein itself was hot knife through butter tender. The addition of the tad sweet with that tiny touch of bitterness veg, Gai Lan is exactly what this dish needed for balance. After a mouthful of kangaroo, my palate was searching out those flavours. Boom!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pre dessert is Hentley Farm’s famous Egg. Everyone talks about this! I won’t. \"\ud83d\ude01\" You’ll have to go to Hentley Farm to taste this heavenly treat. #insaneinthemembrane <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beautiful @karmins_food brought out her dessert, Whole Orange Cake, Tahini ice cream with orange blossom syrup. I love that it wasn’t too sweet! I loved the balance. IlThe tahini ice cream added that delicious earthy nuttiness to the orange cake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macadamia and chocolate cookies too. Sorry to all other cookie makers. Karmin has ruined it for you. If you send me cookies and they’re not as Good as Karmins, yeah, I can’t post about them. Soz..\"\ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udffc\"\u200d\"\u2640\"\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last but not least is @clare.falzon’s grandma’s pikelets. Freaking hell!! Genius recipes run in Clare’s family! Served with vanilla cream and strawberry jam. I guarantee you’ve never had pikelets like these. In fact I was told now the whole kitchen staff make them at home! I could taste why! Clare, can I have the recipe please? \"\ud83d\ude01\"\"\u2764\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wanted to talk about the wines but the food took over! Sorry @angusheida<\/p>\n\n\n\n
